Samburu’s Unique Wildlife – Spot rare species like Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk, known as the Samburu Special Five.

Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to Samburu National Reserve.

Arrive at your lodge/camp in time for lunch.

Afternoon game drive to spot unique species like Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk.

Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 2: Full Day in Samburu

Early morning game drive to catch predators like lions and leopards at their most active.Breakfast at the lodge, followed by a mid-morning game drive.Lunch and relaxation at the lodge.Afternoon game drive to explore more of Samburu’s wildlife.Sundowner in the wild before heading back for dinner.

Day 3: Samburu to Lake Nakuru National Park

Morning game drive in Samburu before departing for Lake Nakuru.

Arrive at Lake Nakuru in time for lunch.

Afternoon game drive to see flamingos, rhinos, tree-climbing lions, and other wildlife.

Dinner and overnight stay at a lodge near the park.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve

Morning game drive in Lake Nakuru before heading to Masai Mara.

Arrive at Masai Mara in time for lunch.

Afternoon game drive to explore the vast plains and spot the Big Five.

Dinner and overnight stay at a lodge/camp.

Day 5: Full Day in Masai Mara

Full-day game drive with a picnic lunch or morning and evening game drives.Optional hot air balloon safari for a breathtaking aerial view of the Mara.Visit a Maasai village to learn about their culture.Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 6: Masai Mara to Nairobi

Optional morning game drive before departing for Nairobi.

Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon, marking the end of your safari.
