Safari Itinerary
6:30 AM – Departure & Early Morning Game Drive
Start your adventure with an early pickup from your hotel or residence. Arriving at Nairobi National Park just after sunrise, you’ll embark on a game drive—the best time to spot predators like lions gearing up for a hunt. As you traverse the vast plains, keep an eye out for giraffes, zebras, impalas, buffaloes, and white and black rhinos.
9:30 AM – Birdwatching & Scenic Views
Pause at one of the park’s scenic viewpoints, where you can soak in the landscape dotted with acacia trees and rolling savannah. Nairobi National Park boasts over 400 bird species, including superb starlings, secretary birds, and majestic eagles.
11:00 AM – Visit to the Ivory Burning Site Monument
Explore the historic Ivory Burning Site, a powerful symbol of Kenya’s commitment to wildlife conservation. This site commemorates the burning of confiscated ivory to deter poaching.
12:30 PM – Lunch at a Nearby Restaurant
Enjoy a delicious meal at Carnivore Restaurant or another recommended spot near the park, where you can savor grilled meats or vegetarian dishes.
2:00 PM – Nairobi Animal Orphanage (Optional)
For an additional wildlife experience, visit the Nairobi Animal Orphanage, home to rescued cheetahs, lions, and rare species undergoing rehabilitation before release.
3:30 PM – Afternoon Game Drive
Venture deeper into the park for a final afternoon game drive, where you may catch another glimpse of the big cats, grazing herbivores, and the breathtaking sight of animals silhouetted against the Nairobi skyline.
5:30 PM – Return to Your Hotel
