Bwindi National Park

Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Pick Up from Kampala and Transfer to Bwindi Forest
Our guide will pick you up at your hotel after breakfast and then depart from Entebbe\Kampala by road and head southwest to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Have a stopover for some informative talk and a splendid photographic opportunity at the Equator. Then continue to Mbarara town for lunch. Travel through the rolling green hills of Banana and Tea plantations and head to the national park. Dinner and your overnight stay are at your accommodation choice.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Safari and Batwa Experience
Early in the morning have breakfast. Then with your packed lunch, you will report to the park headquarters for a briefing from the park officials. You will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the gorillas, which can take you half an hour to three-quarters of the day. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. 1 hour is allowed with the gorillas for photography and observation as they play, feed and groom. Dinner and your overnight stay are at where you spent the previous night.
Day 3: Transfer Back to Kampala
After early morning breakfast, you will drive back to Kampala\ Entebbe International Airport for your flight out later in the evening. This day is reserved for evening flights through Entebbe International Airport or a post-night to be organized in either Kampala or Entebbe. If you request a post-night, please let us know in advance.
