These Booking Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between you, the client (“you” or “participant”), and Explore PhotoTrip (“we,” “us,” or “our”), when you book and participate in any of our photography tours, workshops, or services.
By booking with Explore PhotoTrip, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
All bookings must be made in writing via email or through our official website.
A safari is only considered confirmed upon receipt of a deposit (see payment terms below) and issuance of a confirmation invoice.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate personal details during booking, including names as per passport.
A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
The balance (70%) must be paid no later than 30 days before the safari start date.
For last-minute bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Bank transfers (details provided on request)
Mobile Money (e.g., M-Pesa)
Credit card payments (subject to surcharge)
Cancellation must be received in writing and is effective from the date received. The following cancellation charges apply:
More than 30 days before safari: 20% of total cost
15–30 days before safari: 50% of total cost
7–14 days before safari: 75% of total cost
Less than 7 days before safari or no-show: 100% of total cost
Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 14 working days. Bank charges are borne by the client.
Any amendments to confirmed bookings are subject to availability.
Minor changes (e.g., dates or room preferences) may incur administrative fees.
Major changes (e.g., itinerary changes) may incur additional costs.
All prices are quoted in USD (unless otherwise stated) and are subject to change without prior notice due to currency fluctuations, park fee increases, or other external factors.
Prices typically include transport, park entry fees, accommodation, meals (as indicated), and services of a professional guide.
Clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, cancellation, personal liability, and loss/damage of belongings.
Explore PhotoTrip will not be held liable for any personal injury, illness, death, loss, or damage incurred during the trip.
While we take all reasonable steps to ensure the safety and satisfaction of our clients, we shall not be held liable for delays, injuries, losses, or damages caused by natural disasters, war, strikes, government restrictions, or any other event beyond our control.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they meet all visa and vaccination requirements before travel.
Any health conditions or dietary restrictions must be disclosed at the time of booking.
Any complaints should be reported immediately to your tour guide or our office to allow prompt resolution.
If not resolved locally, formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the end of the safari.
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes shall be resolved under Kenyan law.
